A stunning gem-quality piece of amber, featuring a rare Silverfish (Order Zygentoma Family Lepismatidae) from the late Cretaceous of Myanmar. The Silverfish is remarkably well-preserved, with all segments and tails articulated and in exquisite detail. Measuring 12 mm, it's exceptionally large for a burmite insect, which typically measure 1-2 mm. The amber itself is a gorgeous light citrine color, boasting excellent gem quality clarity. Its dimensions are 14.09 x 10.07 x 4.51 millimeters and it weighs .37 grams.
